While each of the 16 channels can operate independently, channel pairs can also be switched into bi-amp mode for isolating frequency bands from each other or switched into BTL mode to produce up to 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms for your highest output demands.

Through years of development, Marantz has engineered a 16 channel 200-watt per-channel amplifier that performs at extraordinarily high levels with no loss in fidelity. Custom Class D amplification is highly efficient, and strategically incorporated whisper-quiet fans keep the unit running optimally even under highly dynamic conditions.

Gold plated RCA and high-grade XLR connectors accept audio input from most surround processors. Custom Marantz SPK 1+ binding posts are ergonomic and provide the best possible coupling to loudspeaker cables. Low-distortion, high-power output provides ample drive to virtually any loudspeaker configuration to maximize performance in any room.

Using an included cable, control and status information from AMP 10 can be transmitted to AV 10 making network control and automation simple. Further, RS232 and DC trigger inputs are available to make automating AMP 10 with a home control system possible.
